Packers began talking with Driver's agent about new deal

As recently reported, Packers WR Donald Driver is in hope of a new contact better than now. And this is probably the reason why he did not participate in the OTAs. Driver’s agent, Jordan Woy, told media on Saturdya that the negotiation has already begun.

The agent also explained that Driver did not take part in OTAs because it was voluntary and Driver was training in Texas.

There is still 2 years left on Driver's current deal, which will pay him $3.9 million in 2009 and $4 million in 2010. But Driver still wants more, for that he is now a three-time Pro Bowler.
