Indianapolis Colts: The post-Dungy era begins

Tony Dungy's leaving the Colts brought up a lot of changes as well as questions to the team.

Jim Caldwell can be considered as a good coach, and he was promoted within the system – the same system that has made the Colts contenders for years – but that doesn’t hide the fact that this is still a transition year. To players, change is usually an unwelcome aspect of the game. What matters? Are meetings longer, shorter? Do they lift at the same times during camp? Do the veterans get days off? Is there more hitting or less? These seem like minor details to you, but since players are used to a certain routine, they will not be happy with changes, especially in the Colts where the veterans are use to the Tony Dungy routine. Without Dungy, some of them may change their mind to put on miami dolphins jerseys.

But they have to face the changes. they will have to learn new experience from Caldwell in the training camp. The coming regular season will tell us a lot how the changes will benifit the Colts.
