The latest injured Seahawks starter was Chris Spencer, who was hurt in the first week of training camp.
It was on Friday morning’s practice when Spencer left on the back of a cart following a pileup during a blocking drill. Coach Jim Mora said that Spencer’s left ankle was injured but he was not sure how serious the injury was.
Other injured players include former Super Bowl MVP Deion Branch and cornerback Marcus Trufant. Branch had swelling on his reconstructed knee during morning practice but soon returned for the night session. Trufant sustained a back injury last week and has not been ready for practice in camp.
