People can stop counting on the Detroit Pistons team president Joe Dumars to make effort in getting Carlos Boozer or Amare Stoudemire to put on Pistons jersey, as Dumars plans to run his team in a different way this season.
Dumars has been known for being active in making changes to his team. He sent Chauncey Billups to the Denver Nuggets for Allen Iverson last season and added shooting guard Ben Gordon and power forward Charlier Villanueva to the roster before this season. But for this season, he takes it more important to evaluate his team when it’s fully healthy, so he has not been in the trade market yet may plan not to get in before the Feb. 18 deadline.
The Pistons have had a fully healthy roster for only two games for this season by so far and they are 15-28 now. according to Dumars, he will not consider making trades before he knows if the Pistons would make it to the playoff.
